Delicate, lovely, tasty, salty homemade pasta in Alfredo sauce. Nothing beats it!
Noodles: 3/4C all-purpose flour, 1 large egg, and 1 tsp salt.
Alfredo Sauce: 2 tbsp butter + 1/2 minced garlic, 1 1/2C 35% cream, S&P to taste, 1/4 + 1/4C grated parm cheese, pinch of dried thyme, oregano and basil, and 1/2C starch water from the cooked pasta.
oh. my. that looks awesome.
And it was super easy to make. Really!
When I get over my food sickness, I’m gonna have me something like that there! Only I’m gonna have to talk my girlfriend into making it because I have no cooking skills.
She can buy the fresh, premade stuff you can pick up at Costco or any grocery store with a deli section and make the sauce herself. Plate and top it with grated parm and some fresh cracked pepper. That makes the dish IMO.
